The Fort Wayne police started investigating child molesting accusations in December 2022 when the girlfriend of the biological father brought the victim to the police desk. At that point, she was 14. The victim said the abuse started when she was six.

Prior to Monday’s sentencing in Judge David Zent’s courtroom, Christopher A. Graber, 33, pleaded guilty to raping the victim numerous times when she was between 11 and 13. James Graber, 29, violated her in his own home and elsewhere when she was a little bit older and pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct with a minor.

A mother is grieving here after her son died at Pendleton Correctional Facility without explanation. Damarcus Thomas, who would have been 25 Oct. 19, was sent to St. James Ascension Hospital Sept. 28 and put on a ventilator.

Court documents obtained by The Probable Cause indicate that Dylan Kieres, one of two accused of having sex with a 14-year-old boy, will serve three years in prison, if the judge agrees.
