Michael Barker, a kid from the neighborhood who was best pals with now convicted murderer Anthony Lopez, might not have known what his friend was going to do when he walked into the woods with victim William Kintzel. But chances are he did that evening around 7 p.m. on April 10, 2022.

On the night of Feb. 19, 2023, Brandon Golden and Daisha “Twink” Fitts walked out of the Fraternal Order of Eagles casino on Bluffton Road at 11:23 p.m., got into Golden’s van and left happy, pulling out on to Winchester Road Six minutes later, Golden was frantically speeding back into the casino parking lot, his friend Daisha, a beloved local barber, dying between the passenger and the back seat after she was shot in an ambush at Winchester and Airport Expressway.

Somehow a 73-year-old man who lives in low income, senior apartments in downtown Fort Wayne copped three charges for money laundering, along with eight more counts for drug dealing and felony firearm and drug possession.
