A Bishop Luers English teacher who pleaded guilty to two counts of child seduction in February 2024 and served nearly two years in prison is now facing the same allegations in Allen Superior Civil Court. Jordan M. Miller, now 37, admitted to having sex with a 17-year-old female student in 2018 and was sentenced to eight years, with four years suspended, by Allen Superior Court Judge Fran Gull.

Raphael Helton, now 65, was found guilty of murder Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026 for the 2015 beating death of Michael Fedock, 67 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Helton was finally charged with murder in August 2025 after the case had gone cold. At the time of the murder, Helton was living in Fedock's home at 216 Woodland Ave. His wife, Barbara Helton, was also a tenant there, too, but at the time of Fedock's beating, she was being held at the Allen County Jail. It is a tale of horror.

Luck was probably on the mind of 46-year-old Cornelius Tate Wednesday, when the three judge panel who took on his appeal posed their questions to defense attorney Bruce Graham and the two state attorneys, Aaron Corn and Caroline Templeton. A warrant was issued Wednesday for a 52-year-old Fort Wayne man charged with molesting an elementary school aged girl, landing him the highest level state felony. Law enforcement picked him up the same day, according to the Allen County Sheriff's website where Winston David Sellars, Sr, photo appeared Wednesday evening. He is accused of molesting a girl from the ages of six to eight from October 2015 to July 2019.

Ridenour was charged Tuesday with Transportation of Child Pornography and possession of child pornography.
